The names Watermelon Gelato and Cherry Do-Si-Do indicate fruit, ice cream and cookies. Who can go wrong with that? Those parent strains also bring a hard-hitting high and some gassy notes, as well. When you look into the parentage of Kidney Punch, you will find:
- Watermelon Gelato: With moderate to high levels of THC, Watermelon Gelato gives you a relaxing haze to your mind and uplifts your mood. The flavor has been described as tropical, with sweet apple tastes and of course–watermelon flavors.

All the earthiness of Kidney Punch comes from Pinene. This terpene also can bring undertones of rosemary and orange with it, adding to the herbal earthiness and additional orange or citrus flavors in Kidney Punch.
- Caryophyllene – This terpene delivers spicy and peppery notes, which give Lilac Diesel its earthy taste and smell. Some describe caryophyllene as tasting like cloves, as well.
